Why Fans From Three Different Games Chose the Same Song for the Same Moment

We have always celebrated fan-made content. Sharing AMVs on community posts, reposting on stories, running an AMV challenge. Our fans create incredible things, and we make sure they know we see it.

But something we did not expect was watching three fans from three completely different games choose the same song for the same moment.

The moment right before everything changes.

Phainon - Honkai: Star Rail

A fan paired "The Peace Before the Storm" with Phainon's story, and it stopped us in our tracks.

If you know Phainon, you know why this works. The Chrysos Heir who carries the Worldbearing flame. The boy who lost his village. The savior who has died and returned across thirty million cycles, each time choosing to burn again so the world does not end.

Thirty million times, there was a moment before the fire took him. A quiet breath. A last look at something worth protecting.

That is the moment this song lives in.

Aether - Genshin Impact

Then we found this one. A fan set the song to Aether's journey through Teyvat.

Aether and his twin traveled the stars together. Then, in a single moment, the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles tore them apart. He woke up alone in a world that was not his, searching for someone who may not want to be found.

Every step Aether takes is colored by that last moment of peace before the separation. Before he became a traveler instead of a brother.

Aemeath - Wuthering Waves

And then this one appeared on TikTok.

Aemeath lost her parents to a Void Storm as a child. The person who raised her left, hoping she would live a carefree life. Instead, she gave up her physical body to resonate with a Tunneler, becoming an Electronic Ghost, invisible to everyone around her.

"I hope I make you proud. I hope I have not let you down."

She carries the weight of people who will never know she is carrying it.

The Same Moment in Every World

We wrote "The Peace Before the Storm" about Janus, the protagonist of our dark fantasy series Wings of Fate. Chapter 1 opens with the last quiet evening of his life: walking through golden fields, sharing a meal with his family, not knowing that everything is about to change. Not knowing that he has been chosen to carry a burden that will reshape the world.

We wrote it about one character. We did not know that moment had the same shape in every world.

Phainon's last breath before the flame. Aether's last second with his twin. Aemeath's last day with a body anyone could see. Janus's last night at home.

Different stories. Different universes. The same silence before the weight arrives.

That is what "The Peace Before the Storm" is about. Not a plot. Not a character. A feeling. The specific, irreplaceable weight of the last moment you did not know was your last.

To the Fans Who Made These

Thank you.

We make music for exactly this feeling. The fact that you heard it the same way we did, independently, across three completely different worlds, tells us something we could not have learned on our own.

The feeling is real. And it does not belong to any single story. It belongs to anyone who has ever stood in the quiet before everything changed and did not look away.

If you have made an AMV with our music, or if one of these videos is how you found us: welcome. You are in the right place.
